about me
I build process where there is none.
The best design starts with paying attention.
From user flows to visual details.
I believe the best design work happens when we have a seat at the strategy table.
Designers need a voice at the strategy level to deliver the best work. That means digging into the why alongside engineers and product owners, not just executing decisions. Our work requires trade-offs. Knowing where to make them is the difference between shipping something that works and shipping something we're proud of.
Current toolbox:
I'm a designer who's spent nearly two decades moving from print to web to UX, always driven by whatever I'm fixated on at the moment. Outside of work, that's looked like collecting antiques, teaching myself guitar and starting a band via Craigslist, competitive weightlifting, going to metal shows, and traveling everywhere from Iceland to Australia.
My career started as a freelance designer at The Riverfront Times and evolved through scrappy marketing agencies, e-commerce, and corporate environments. Today at Anheuser-Busch, I untangle complex legacy processes, design for internal tools, and lead UX strategy for our MarTech organization, working on brands you've definitely heard of.
